Dr. Sykes' Hobbies and Interests Everyone needs to have diversions from their schedules, especially a busy professional such as Dr. Sykes. Having been raised in a home filled with lots of artistic and musical talent, it's no wonder that she still immerses herself in these favorite pastimes. Her artistic talent was part of what drew her into the specialty of plastic surgery. She is an accomplished artist and displays some of her paintings and needlecraft in the office. As a musician, she plays flute, harmonica, and percussion and sings in a band alongside her husband.
